Today Management Solution Partners (MSP) signed a partnership agreement with Coglin Mill to sell and implement the best-of-breed RODIN Data Warehousing solution in the UK and other parts of Europe.  MSP becomes the first certified sales and support organisation in this region for RODIN, the world-wide leader for data warehouse management software for the IBM AS/400 range of computers.

RODIN has been enjoying significant success in North America, especially among the larger and more complex AS/400 sites, since being introduced from Australia just over 2 years ago.  In April 1998, Coglin Mill opened an office in London to further develop European partnerships and opportunities and this agreement is a direct result of that investment.

Coglin Mill also recently signed an agreement with IBM to integrate RODIN into IBM’s own Visual Warehouse, their flagship architecture for data warehousing and business intelligence.

RODIN is successfully installed in some of the largest and best known organizations in North America and other parts of the world including Barclays Bank, Caterpillar, H&R Block, Hong Kong Bank, Hyundai, Pepsi Food Distributors (i.e. Ameriserve), Viking Office Products and many others.  It has been used as the foundation for most of the popular data mart and desktop visualization tools including BrioQuery, Business Objects, Cognos, CorVu, DSS Agent, InfoManager, Pilot Lightship (i.e. Velocity on the AS/400), SalesTracker, SAS and Showcase Strategy.

RODIN is available through MSP either as a stand-alone offering, as an integrated offering with Visual Warehouse, or as the foundation of a "tailored solution” designed and implemented by MSP.  The fully integrated Visual Warehouse product will be available in the first quarter of 1999.  It will be able to source data from a large number of different databases and file systems, across most of the popular hardware / operating system platforms, to create and maintain the central data repositories on IBM’s extremely popular and successful AS/400e Series computers.
